Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies, are the first two books in a planned trilogy that follows the career of Thomas Cromwell. Cromwell began life as the son of a blacksmith and rose quickly in the Tudor court to become Henry VIII's most powerful advisor. History judges him as the one responsible for the downfall of Sir Thomas Moore and Anne Boleyn. Mantel's Wolf Hall, told entirely from Cromwell's point of view, portrays the advisor in a more sympathetic light. Read more about the Wolf Hall production.
Both Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bones can be found in the TudorSource bookstore. Book jacket art by Picador.
